Pistons are available in standard and oversizes of .010 and .030 inch.
Piston rings are available in standard and oversizes of .030 inch.
Beginning with 1990 models, a low friction light weight piston and new design ring pack are used. This piston and ring pack is not interchangeable with 1989 or previous piston and ring pack. The low friction light weight piston can be identified by a raised notch on the bottom of the piston pin bore located toward rear of engine, Fig. 13.
