Window Glass: Adjustments



WINDOW ADJUSTMENT







Window adjustment is necessary whenever the window is replaced, when the window regulator assembly is replaced, or when a visual inspection of the window reveals it to be improperly seated to the contacted weather strips for the side window.

Inspect

^ Contact areas of window to weatherstrips for proper alignment.
^ Weatherstrips for cracks, distortion, tears or hardness variations.
^ Contact areas of window to weatherstrips for proper seal.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Trim panel"Body and Frame/Doors,Hood and Trunk/Door/Door Panel.Doors
2. Water deflector
3. Accessory mounting plate







Adjust

^ Window as necessary by following chart


Install or Connect

1. Accessory mounting plate
2. Water deflector
3. Trim panel"Body and Frame/Doors,Hood and Trunk/Door/Door Panel.Doors
