Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1. Open hood, then remove wiper arms and air inlet screen.
2. Turn ignition on and operate motor. Stop motor with crank arm pointing to a position between 4 and 5 o'clock (viewed from passenger compartment) by turning ignition off.
3. Disconnect battery ground cable.
4. Disconnect upper electrical connector from wiper motor.
5. Remove motor retaining bolts, and remove motor after disconnecting lower electrical connector and linkage.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
