Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Discharge and recover refrigerant from the system.
2. Evaporator tube from evaporator.
3. O-ring.
4. Expansion (orifice) tube from evaporator.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Expansion (orifice) tube into evaporator.
2. New O-ring.
^ Coat O-ring with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
3. Evaporator tube to evaporator.
^ Tighten evaporator connection to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
4. Refrigerant to the system.
^ Check the system for leaks.
