Model and Year: 1990-91 CAPRICE AND CAMARO WITH 4L60 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

CONDITION:

Transmission fluid leaks at the vehicle speed sensor.

CAUSE:

The leak may be at the sensor seal to the transmission or at the electrical connector to the sensor.

CORRECTION:

A new series of transmission speed sensors with improved anti-leak characteristics should be used to correct the condition.
