Front Internal Gear

1. Inspect front internal gear hub for worn or damaged splines and restricted lubrication passages.
2. Inspect internal gear and gear teeth for cracks or chips.
3. Inspect bushing for scoring or damage.
4. Inspect thrust washer and selective washer for scoring, pitting or damage.
5. Install internal gear, thrust washer, selective thrust washer with identification number facing up, then the snap ring, ensuring it is properly seated.
