Subject: IMPROVED JACK ASSEMBLY WITH INCREASED LIFT HEIGHT


Model and Year: 1989-91 T PICKUP WITH OFF ROAD (ZM6) SUSPENSION


A jack assembly with increased lift height has been released for T pickups with the off road (ZM6) suspension package and P235/75R-15 on-off road tires. This revision will allow easier tire/wheel removal.

Vehicles built after the following VIN breakpoints have the redesigned jack assembly installed at production:

PONTIAC WEST M0182302

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Remove jack from vehicle storage container.

2. Install new jack in storage container.
