SERVICE UPDATE


This bulletin updates the intake plenum bolt torque specification for the 1991 3.1L (VIN T) engines used in front wheel drive applications. The current specification, found on pages 6E3-C2-9 and 6E3-C2-18 in DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS (Section 6E3-C2), "Fuel Metering System," of the Service Manual is incorrect. The correct intake plenum bolt torque is 10.0 N-m (88 lb.in.). The intake plenum is shown in Figure 1.
