Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On 1991-92 models, remove fender brace at rear right hand corner of engine compartment, if necessary.
3. Disconnect blower motor and resistor wires.
4. Disconnect cooling tube, if equipped.
5. Remove blower motor retaining screws and motor/cage assembly from case.
6. While holding blower motor cage, remove cage retaining screw and slide cage from motor shaft.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
