Shift Linkage: Adjustments

1. Place transmission control lever in neutral position.
2. Loosen cable attachment nut(s) or bolt(s) at shift lever.
3. Rotate shift lever ``clockwise'' to park detent and then back to neutral position.
4. Torque cable attaching nuts or bolts to 11 lb ft Control lever must be held out of ``Park'' position when tightening nut.
5. Check cable adjustment by rotating transmission control lever through each detent position.
