Installation

1. Install countershaft front bearing onto countershaft using countershaft bearing and race remover and installer tool No. J 37357 or equivalent, with bearing and gear puller tool No. J 22912-01, drive handle J 8092, or equivalents, and a press.

2. Install new 0-ring onto countershaft front bearing race. Lubricate 0-ring.

3. Install countershaft front bearing race into case using countershaft bearing and race remover and installer tool No. J 37357, or equivalent, with drive handle tool No. J 8092, or equivalent, and a press. Lightly tap race into its bore until 0-ring is compressed, then use a press to install race until its shoulder rests on inside of case.
