Wiper Switch: Service and Repair


1. Remove steering wheel as outlined under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/STEERING/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT REPAIR PROCEDURES/STEERING WHEEL. procedure.
2. Remove turn signal switch as outlined under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/STEERING/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT REPAIR PROCEDURES/TURN SIGNAL. procedure.
3. Remove windshield wiper switch attaching screws.
4. Depress switch locking tab, then disconnect switch electrical connectors.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque windshield wiper switch attaching screws to 49 inch lbs.
