Air Injection Control Valve: Service and Repair

Electronic Switching Valve Service:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable
2. Mounting bracket bolt
3. Air inlet and outlet hoses from valve
4. Electrical connector and vacuum hose from valve
5. Two electric switching valve mounting bracket bolts

Install or Connect

1. Two electric switching valve to mounting bracket
Torque Value: 24 Nm (17 lb ft)
2. Electrical connector
3. Vacuum hose
4. Air hoses to valve
5. Mounting bracket bolt
Torque Value: 12 Nm (106 lb in)
6. Negative battery cable
7. Check AIR system for proper operation
