Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Pressure Switch Locations.:





Remove or Disconnect:
1. Negative battery cable
^ Raise vehicle and suitably support

2. Transmission oil pan
3. Transmission oil filter and O-ring seal

Clean:
^ Gasket material from oil pan and case
^ Valve body components

4. Pressure switch


Install or Connect:
1. New pressure switch
2. New transmission oil filter and O-ring seal
3. Transmission oil pan, tighten bolts to 11 Nm (97 in lbs)
4. Fill with DEXRON-IIE automatic transmission fluid
5. Lower vehicle
6. Connect negative battery cable
