Dual Pole Arming Sensor

Use extreme caution when handling an airbag system sensor. Striking an airbag sensor could cause system deployment, resulting in personal injury and/or improper airbag system operation. All sensors and mounting bracket bolts must be properly tightened to ensure proper operation.


1. Disarm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Disarming.''
2. Remove center console.
3. Disconnect connector position assurance (CPA) connector and electrical connector from dual pole arming sensor.
4. Remove sensor fasteners, then remove dual pole arming sensor from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten to specifications.
b. Rearm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Arming.''
