Remarks:

[1] The eighth digit of the VIN denotes engine code.

[2] Transmission application determines computer system.

a. If vehicle is under GVW 8500 Lbs. and is equipped with a 4L60-E
automatic transmission it has a 93PCM6 computer.

b. If vehicle is over GVW 8501 Lbs. and is equipped with a 4L80-E
automatic transmission it has a 91PCM6 computer.

c. If vehicle is equipped with manual transmission it has a
(ECM/GMCM) computer.
