HARRISON R134A AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR SERVICE PARTS PROGRAM
Model and Yew:
1993 CAMARO, 1993 G AND U VANS
In order to expedite early customer/dealership feedback and minimize the service and diagnostic problems associated with the introduction of new product technologies, service parts for the 1993 Model Year Harrison R134A air conditioning compressor and clutch assemblies will be available only through a special program.

THE PROCEDURE FOR COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT
1. Dealership Diagnosis
A. The dealership technician is required to diagnose the A/C system using the applicable service manual and STG-R134a training video.
B. The dealer technician or service management must then contact the Chevrolet Technical Assistance Network (TAN) (1 -800-227-3175) to verify the diagnosis and establish a TAN case number.
C. If the problem is determined not to be the compressor, continue the diagnosis and repair per the service manual and STG-Rl34a training video or call the divisional technical assistance center.
2. Replacement Part(s)
A. Upon verification of the order requirements by TAN, the Harrison technical assistance group will place the necessary part order directly with GMSPO. A.C. Delco authorized repair centers will not be authorized to provide in-warranty R134A A/C compressor and clutch assemblies.
Note 1:
If a dealer attempts to order any of the subject parts before contacting the technical assistance number, the order will be rejected with a message to contact the technical assistance center's telephone number.
Note 2:
R134A compressors shipped from GMSPO are eligible for the usual dealer net plus 30 percent mark up, however, core charges are not eligible.
B. The ordered part will be shipped to the dealer within 24 hours via GMSPO VIP overnight requirements. If the Chevrolet Technical Assistance Network (TAN) has received the call from the dealership and verified the order requirement by 3:30 PM Eastern Time, the ordered part will be delivered to the dealership by 12:00 noon the following day.
3. The procedure for returning replaced R134A A/C compressors is as follows:
The replacement compressor will be packaged in a heavy gauge returnable box. It will include a self-adhering return label and a short instruction information sheet.
1. Upon receipt of the replacement compressor the replaced compressor should be returned collect via Emery Worldwide Air Freight within three (3) days. Third party billing to:

2. To ensure proper and timely core charge credit, complete the lower half of the instruction sheet provided and include it with the returned compressor
