Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

Installing Stoplight Switch:

1. Remove the driver side hush panel.
2. Insert stop light switch into retainer until switch body seats on retainer.
3. Pull brake pedal upward against internal pedal stop. Switch will be moved in retainer providing proper adjustment.
4. Pull brake pedal upward until no clicks are heard and the brake lights do not stay on without brake application.
5. Replace driver side hush panel.
