Fuel Pressure Relief

Procedure:

NOTE: A constant bleed feature in the pressure regulator relieves pressure when engine is turned "OFF."

- Disconnect negative battery terminal to avoid possible fuel discharge if an accidental attempt is made to start the engine.
- Loosen fuel filler cap to relieve tank vapor pressure.
- The internal constant bleed feature of the TBI relieves fuel pump system pressure when the engine is turned "OFF." Therefore, NO further pressure relief procedure is required.
