Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove left and right side wiper arms using following procedure:
a. Remove plastic cap from end of wiper arm shaft.
b. Remove nut from end of wiper arm shaft.
c. Using suitable tool, pry wiper arm from wiper arm shaft.
3. Loosen, but do not remove, transmission drive link(s) to wiper motor crank arm attaching screws.
4. Remove air inlet screen.
5. Disconnect transmission drive link(s) from wiper motor crank arm.
6. Remove wiper transmission to body attaching bolts.
7. Remove wiper transmission by guiding it through shroud upper panel access hole.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
