Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Refer to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 when performing following procedure.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster bezel.
3. Squeeze small switch knob at side and pull straight out.
4. Insert a suitable flat blade screwdriver into slots adjacent to center of inner knob and disengage knob from switch.
5. Remove switch to bezel screws, then switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install noting following:
a. When positioning inner knob to switch, make certain tabs align with slots, then press to secure.
b. Position outer knob on switch and align "D" shaped hole in knob to shaft on switch, then press to secure.
