Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Body Assembly:
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
l. Air inlet duct.
2. Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove TP sensor attaching screws and retainers.
4. Sensor and 0-ring.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. With throttle valve in the normal closed idle position, install TP sensor and 0-ring on throttle body assembly.
2. Two TP sensor screws.
Tighten
^ Screws to 2.0 Nm (18 lb. in.).
3. TP sensor electrical connector.
4. Air inlet duct.
