Antitheft Relay: Service and Repair








Removal

Caution: Refer to Caution under disconnecting the battery negative cable assembly.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable assembly.
2. Remove instrument panel assembly.
3. Remove relay assembly (8) from inflatable restraint bracket assembly (7).
4. Disconnect electrical connector from relay assembly (8).

Installation

1. Connect electrical connector to relay assembly (8).
2. Install relay assembly (8) to inflatable restraint bracket assembly (7).
3. Install instrument panel assembly.
4. Connect battery negative cable assembly.
