Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
A failure in the Transaxle Fluid Temperature
(TFT) sensor or associated wiring should cause a Diagnostic Trouble Code
(DTC) P0712 or P0713 to set, the Powertrain Control Module
(PCM) will substitute engine coolant temperature for transaxle temperature.
