Distributor Cap: Service and Repair

Distributor Assembly:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Battery negative cable.
2. Secondary wiring from cap if a new cap is being installed.

IMPORTANT: Note wire placement at each wire location in order to maintain correct firing order.

3. Simultaneously depress and rotate screws counterclockwise 180 degrees.
4. Cap from housing.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Cap to housing.
2. Simultaneously depress and rotate screws clockwise 180 degrees.
3. Secondary wiring if installing new cap.
4. Battery negative cable.
