Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair

Oil Level Sensor:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Drain the oil from crankcase.
3. Remove the oil level switch electrical connector (1).
4. Remove the oil level switch (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the oil level switch (2).

Tighten
Bolt to 8-12 Nm (6-9 lb. ft.).

2. Install the oil level switch electrical connector (1).
4. Refill the crankcase with engine oil (3).
