BASE BRAKE SYSTEM
Before trying to Diagnose the antilock brake system, perform a careful visual inspection of the basic brake system components. Inspect the condition of the wheels and tires, hydraulic lines and connections, fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir, etc. Check for fluid leaks and inspect the condition of the brake linings, wheel bearings drums and rotors. Perform necessary mechanical repairs first.
