Cruise Control Cable Adjustment
Cable Adjustment Mechanism:
1. Hold throttle lever in the idle/stop position with one hand while pulling the cruise cable adjust slider until slack is removed.
Important
^ Cable must not have more than 2 mm (0.07 inch) of slack. Excess slack in cable may cause poor performance such as hesitation on cruise setting.
2. lush down cruise cable adjuster lock button until it snaps and locks into place.
Inspect
^ Pull on the terminal end to ensure connector to throttle body is hard against the fitting. A gap 0 - 2 mm (0.07 inch) between the terminal end of cable to the plastic connector that snaps on to throttle body is allowed. Readjust cable if more than 2 mm (0.07 inch) exists.
