Brake Hose/Line: Service Precautions

WARNING: Always Use double-flared steel brake pipe when replacing brake lines. The use of any other pipe is not recommended and may cause brake system failure. Carefully route and retain replacement brake lines. Always use the correct fasteners and the original location for replacement brake lines. Failure to properly route and retain brake lines may cause damage to the lines and lead to brake system failure.

Brake lines that run parallel to each other must maintain a 6 mm (1/4 inch) clearance.
