Installation Of Heater Core Seals (Side Seals):

Tool Required:
J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Remove or Disconnect
1. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
2. Drain cooling system.
3. Wiper linkage.
4. Both Heater hoses at heater core.
5. Lower center console.
6. Both Instrument Panel insulators.
7. Heater outlet module screws.
8. Heater cover.
9. Heater core mounting clip screw.
10. Heater core line clamp screw.
11. Heater core.
12. All foam seals to heater core module.
13. Heater core line clamp.

Install or Connect

1. Heater core line clamp.
2. All foam seals to heater core module.
3. Heater core.
4. Heater core line clip with screw.

Tighten
^ Screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

5. Heater core mounting clip with screw.

Tighten
^ Screw to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

6. Heater cover with screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

7. Heater outlet module screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

8. Both instrument panel insulators.
9. Lower center console.
10. Both heater hoses and clamps to heater core.
11. Wiper linkage.
12. Refill coolant.
13. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
