Map Light: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Battery ground (negative) cable.
2. Insert a small flat-bladed tool between the switch and reading lamp housing and trim ring.
3. Press inward and down to release the switch and reading lamp housing from trim ring.
4. Slide the switch and reading lamp housing forward to disengage rear tab from trim ring.
5. Electrical connectors from the switch and reading lamp housing.
6. Switch and reading lamp housing from console.
7. Pull bulb from bulb socket.

Install or Connect
1. Press bulb into bulb socket.
2. Electrical connectors to the switch and reading lamp housing.
3. Align rear tab on switch and reading lamp housing into rear slot in trim ring.
4. Align front locking tabs to front of trim ring.
5. Press up on switch and reading lamp housing to snap into trim ring.
6. Battery ground (negative) cable.
