Brake Caliper: Testing and Inspection
After removing the
brake caliper assembly, perform the following inspection procedure:

Inspect the inside of the caliper assembly for signs of
brake fluid leakage. If you find leakage, overhaul the caliper assembly.

Inspect the mounting bolts and sleeves for corrosion. Replace corroded bolts and sleeves. Do not attempt to polish away the corrosion.
