Housing Assembly HVAC: Service and Repair
Remove or Disconnect
1. Engine coolant.
2. Body side front lower trim panel.
3. Screws retaining the auxiliary heater module cover.
4. Auxiliary heater module cover.
5. Clamps from the auxiliary heater pipes.
6. Auxiliary heater pipes from the auxiliary heater module.
7. Bolts retaining the auxiliary heater module to the floor.
Important
^ Before removing the auxiliary heater module from the vehicle, place a protective cover on the floor to prevent any leakage of coolant on the carpet.
8. Auxiliary heater module.
Install or Connect
1. Auxiliary heater module.
2. Bolts to retain the auxiliary heater module to the floor.
Tighten
^ Bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
3. Auxiliary heater pipes to the auxiliary heater module.
4. Clamps to the auxiliary heater pipes.
5. Auxiliary heater module cover.
6. Screws to retain the auxiliary heater module cover.
