Evaporative Emissions System: Testing and Inspection: Overview

The control module performs diagnostic tests in order to monitor the performance of the Evaporative ([1][2]EVAP) emissions system. These test are as follows:

^ Excess Vacuum Tests. Excess Vacuum Tests
^ Loaded Canister Test. Loaded Canister Test
^ Weak Vacuum Tests. Weak Vacuum Tests
^ Small [1][2]EVAP Leak Test. Small EVAP Leak Test
^ Purge Valve Leak test. Purge Valve Leak Test
