Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Specifications

Typical Scan Data Values
The Typical Scan Data Values are an average of display values recorded from normally operating vehicles. The Typical Scan Data Values are intended to represent what a normally functioning system would display. The values you get may vary due to a low battery charge or other reasons. But they should be very close. Use the Typical Scan Data Values only after the On-Board Diagnostic system check and finding the on-board diagnostics function properly with no diagnostic codes displayed. Engine must be at operating temperature, idling in Closed loop, Closed throttle, Park or Neutral, and accessories OFF.
ECT Sensor Voltage 2.00 Volts (V)
