A Scan Tool can be connected to the Data Link Connector (DLC), this allows the Scan Tool to communicate with the Vehicle Control Module (VCM), the Passlock/Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) module, Inflatable Restraint Sensing Diagnostic Module or the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). System operations can then be monitored for diagnostic purpose.
