REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Lock Striker Replacement: Rear Compartment Lid - Removal Procedure:




1. Mark the location of the striker as an aid in installation.
2. Remove the bolts attaching the striker to the lid.
3. Remove the striker.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Lock Striker Replacement: Rear Compartment Lid - Installation Procedure:




1. Position the striker to the lid with the arrow pointed down.
2. Install the left side bolt first. (net locating hole).
3. Install the right side bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lid latch striker bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
