Compressor Mounting Bracket

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the compressor from the vehicle.





2. Remove the compressor drive belt tensioner from the compressor bracket, if necessary.
3. Remove the compressor drive belt idler pulley from the compressor bracket, if necessary.





4. Remove the compressor bracket mounting bolt.
5. Remove the compressor bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the compressor mounting stud to the engine block.
2. Install the compressor bracket onto the compressor mounting stud.
3. Install the compressor bracket mounting bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the compressor bracket mounting bolt to 50 mm (37 lb ft).

4. Remove the compressor mounting stud.





5. Install the compressor drive belt idler pulley from the compressor bracket, if removed.

Tighten
Tighten the compressor drive belt idler pulley to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

6. Install the compressor drive belt tensioner from the compressor bracket, if removed.

Tighten
Tighten the compressor drive belt tensioner to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

7. Install the compressor the vehicle.
