Generator Bracket Replacement - Auxiliary

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the necessary hoses from the generator bracket.
2. Remove the mounting bolts from the left side of the A/C compressor.
3. Remove the mounting bolt from the backside of the generator.
4. Remove the generator bracket from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE


1. Install the idler pulley if necessary.
2. Install the brace to the vehicle.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the mounting bolts to the brace.

Tighten
Tighten the auxiliary generator brace mounting bolts to:
^ The long bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
^ The short bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the serpentine belt to the engine.
