Brake Caliper: Testing and Inspection
Remove the caliper in order to inspect the inside of the caliper assembly for signs of fluid leakage. Overhaul the caliper if any leakage is detected. Refer to
Brake Caliper Overhaul in Disc Brakes.
Inspect the mounting bolts and the sleeves for any corrosion. Replace any corroded bolts or sleeves. Do not attempt to polish away the corrosion.
