Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Condenser:




Left Upper Condenser To Compressor Hose:




Right Lower Condenser To Evaporator Tube:






Remove or Disconnect

1. Recover the refrigerant from the system.
2. The radiator grille.
3. The lower hood latch cover from the vehicle.
4. The hood latch from the vehicle.
5. The left hand headlamp housing.
6. The A/C lines from the condenser.
7. The retaining bolts and condenser from the vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. The condenser and retaining bolts to the vehicle.

Tighten
^ The condenser retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. The A/C lines to the condenser.

Tighten
^ The compressor/condenser hose to the condenser to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).

3. The left hand headlamp bezel to the vehicle.
4. The hood latch to the vehicle.
5. The lower hood latch cover to the vehicle.
6. The radiator grille.
