Expansion Tube Inspection:

Remove or Disconnect

1. The battery from the vehicle.
2. Recover the refrigerant.
3. The engine coolant.
4. The coolant recovery reservoir or surge tank.
5. The electrical connectors.
6. The accumulator.
7. The evaporator tube from the evaporator.
8. The insulator cover.
9. The evaporator front cover.
^ Separate the case halves.
10. The evaporator core.

Install or Connect

1. The evaporator core.
2. The evaporator front cover.
3. The insulator cover.
4. The evaporator tube to the evaporator.
5. The accumulator.
6. The electrical connectors.
7. The coolant recovery reservoir or surge tank.
8. Fill the engine coolant.
9. Recharge the refrigerant if equipped.
10. The battery to the vehicle.
^ Check the system for leaks.
