Antitheft Relay: Service and Repair

Theft Deterrent Relay:




If the relay is determined to be inoperative, it should be replaced.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

CAUTION: Refer to Disconnecting the Battery Negative Cable Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Battery ground (negative) cable.
2. Right side instrument panel insulator.
3. Instrument panel lower compartment.
4. Relay from theft deterrent module bracket.
5. Electrical connector from relay.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Electrical connector to relay.
2. Relay to theft deterrent module bracket.
3. Instrument panel lower compartment.
4. Right side instrument panel insulator.
5. Battery ground (negative) cable.
