Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the air cleaner. Set the air cleaner aside.
3. Disconnect the air conditioning (A/C) refrigerant pressure switch electrical connector.
4. Remove the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (1) from the evaporator inlet (4) pipe.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (1) to the evaporator inlet (4) pipe.
2. Connect the A/C refrigerant pressure switch electrical connector.
3. Install the air cleaner to the vehicle.
4. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system.
5. Operate the A/C system and inspect for refrigerant leaks.
