Theft Deterrent Module Replacement

Theft Deterrent Module:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Right side instrument panel insulator.
2. Instrument panel lower compartment.
3. Theft deterrent module bracket mounting bolts.
4. Theft deterrent module bracket from cross car beam.
5. Theft deterrent module mounting bolts from bracket.
6. Theft deterrent module from bracket.
7. Electrical connector from module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Electrical connector to module.
2. Slide upper portion of module into bracket slots.
3. Theft deterrent module mounting bolts to bracket.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb. in.).

4. Theft deterrent module bracket to cross car beam.
5. Theft deterrent module bracket mounting bolts.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb. in.).

6. Instrument panel lower compartment.
7. Right side instrument panel insulator.
