Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the oil level indicator from the guide tube.





2. Remove the bolt and guide tube (1) from the cylinder block.
3. Remove the guide tube seal (3) from the oil pump body (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Coat the new guide tube seal with new engine oil.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the new guide tube seal (3) to the cylinder block. Secure the guide tube to the cylinder block with one bolt.
^ Tighten the bolt to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the oil level indicator to the guide tube.
