Installation Procedure

Description:

1. Install the SDM (5) into the vehicle, taking care to ensure that the arrow is pointing toward the front of the vehicle.
2. Install the SDM fasteners (1, 2).
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 5.5 N.m (49 lb. in).
3. Install the electrical connector and install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) (6).

4. Install the center console and then install the rear console (1).
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System.
