Generator Brace Replacement (Rear)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the generator front brace. Valeo A13VI+ (K68) only.
2. Remove the generator rear brace nut.
3. Remove the generator rear brace bolt.
4. Remove the generator rear brace.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the generator rear brace.
2. Install and hand tighten the generator rear brace bolt.
3. Install and hand tighten the generator rear brace nut.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the generator rear brace bolt.

Tighten
Valeo A13VI+ (K68) only. Tighten the generator rear brace bolt to 25 N.m (15 lb ft).

Tighten
Delphi CS-144 (KG9) only. Tighten the generator rear brace bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

5. Tighten the generator rear brace nut.

Tighten
Tighten the generator rear brace nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

6. Install the generator front brace. Valeo only.
