Installation Procedure







1. Install the SIR sensor to the top of the cradle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor mounting fasteners (2).

Tighten
Tighten fastener to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the SIR sensor.
4. Install the lower radiator shroud.
5. Install the fan and clutch assembly.
6. Install the upper radiator shroud.
7. Install the air box with MAF sensor to the upper radiator shroud.
8. Connect the air tube to the throttle body air intake cover with the clamp.
9. Connect the the electrical connectors to the MAF and IAT sensors.
10. Enable the SIR system.
