Shift Fork Clean and Inspect
1.
Inspect the shift forks, the shafts, and the levers for wear or damage. Replace these if the conditions exist.
2.
Measure the shift fork pad thickness. Replace the shift fork pad if the pad is thinner than the following specifications:

7.4 mm (0.291 inch) ^
Except reverse -
7.5 mm (0.295 inch)
